A funny thing about me: it was a pivot away from the corporate world that brought me into K-12 education, and another one that took me beyond that to a purpose-filled life as an education entrepreneur, nonprofit leader, and startup executive.

As educators, we often teach students to ‘learn by doing.’ But when it comes to our own careers, we wait for certainty before taking action. What if purpose works the same way as learning: something we discover through iteration, not meticulous planning?
